Experience
For the last 16 months Maria has been exclusively working with Dr Alex Nikolaou as his implant nurse.
Apart from assisting during implant surgeries, she is the one who communicates with the implant patients arranging appointments, explaining the procedure for each stage and placing the orders for implant equipment, materials and components.
Maria is very passionate about implant dentistry and attends implant courses and symposiums as much as she can.
TRAINING and BACKGROUND
Maria worked as a trainee dental nurse from January 2018 to September 2020 when she obtained her Diploma in Dental Nursing from NEBDN.
During this time she assisted in many dental implant surgeries and realised that she would like to get actively involved with this aspect of dentistry.
As a result, following her graduation from the dental nursing course Maria decided to undergo further training as a dental implant nurse. She enrolled in the NEBDN Dental Implant Nursing course from which she qualified in October 2021.
